1974 Stratocaster 
Erie Music proudly offers this all original 1974 Fender Stratocaster in a beautiful natural finish. Overall condition of this strat I would put at very good condition.
These early 70’s strats are becoming more rare and sought after (try buying a 60’s strat!). Fender even re-released these once despised big headstock strats in various iterations and configurations! But you’ll never get this kind of vintage look and feel from a reissue or current model. This is real, natural, ‘over the years’ vibe, with slight relic’ing and most importantly, tone that comes from playing and time.
There are a few very minor dings and scratches that will occur on a guitar that’s been played for over 40 years. However, there are no breaks, cracks or repairs evident. This guitar has been taken care of very well over it’s lifetime and it shows.
All Original
Everything appears to be original. Solder joints look untouched, pots, 3-way switch, knobs, pickups & pickguard appear original. The pots and pickups appear to date to 1974.
Everything works as it should. Bridge and saddles are nice with only a bit of corrosion. I believe this could be cleaned up if desired.
This is a comfortable guitar at 8.25lbs, unlike some of the super heavy, back breaker strats that came out in the 70’s.
The neck is a very comfortable profile. The frets are nice with a good amount of life left and no real divots. The neck fits very well in the neck pocket. The neck stamps are a bit hard to read but the stamp of X. (Xavier) Armenta is that of a fairly well known Fender neck finisher in the 1970’s.
Classic Stratocaster Tone
Tonewise, this Strat has the well loved typical strat tones but the neck pickup really shines with a full, smooth tone.
This Natural strat comes with the original trem bar, original bridge cover and a original hard case with key!
