Description
The Taylor 555 12 String, introduced initially in 1978, was aimed at the top end of the acoustic market. With a solid sitka spruce top, solid mahogany back and sides and ebony fretboard and bridge, the 555 definitely had the goods!
The 17″ jumbo body provides a big, bold tone. And with the 1 7/8″ nut width and thin/wide neck profile, this 12 string is very comfortable to play.
This 1998 555 is in excellent to mint condition! It looks virtually unplayed.
The body shows no marks/dings/etc.
The frets/fretboard and neck show no real signs of use.
There are no cracks, breaks or repairs.
Action and playability are excellent. Low and easy to play.
Included is the original Taylor hardshell case which is also in excellent condition.
