Sarricola Tele Style 1990’s – Natural Satin
Here’s a very rare, hand built tele from Bill Sarricola guitars in Chicago.
Bill Sirricola, former Hamer Guitars employee, started building high end custom guitars in small quantities using his own name in the 1990’s. He gained a great reputation in the Chicago area for quality guitars and even built guitars for some of the popular rock guitarists of the day including Warrent’s guitarist.
This tele style guitar features a beautiful one-piece walnut body, maple neck and DiMarzio & Seymour Duncan pickups.
Everything functions as it should and the frets and fretboard are in great shape.
The body does show signs of play. The back has a small area with some ‘buckle rash’ but is hard to see. There are a couple dings and scratches. I’ve tried to show all these in the photos.
This is a great sounding guitar with these early DiMarzio and Duncan pickups. Warm and powerful tone.
Weight on this one is just over 8lbs.
Sarricola guitars are quite rare but are extremely well made instruments.
A generic teardrop case is included. It’s a little scuffed but is solid and protects as it should.
