Peavey T-60 from 1980.
The Peavey T-60 often seems to get overlooked when searching for a great playing and sounding vintage guitar. They were extremely well made, well designedhad innovative features and are now getting harder to find.
This T-60, finished in rare white, is a great guitar!
It was obviously loved and played showing the wear and marks that come with a played guitar but that only adds to the ‘mojo’ of this old Peavey.
Despite the dings and marks on the body, the frets and neck are in great shape. The action and playability are very good.
All the pickups and controls work as they should. The potentiometers were a bit scratchy at first but a good cleaning took care of that.
Weight on this one is 8.3lbs, so still quite comfortable.
Look at the photos, this one is not a ‘closet queen’ but still a very nice, original T-60 finished in a pretty rare color.
The original case, which is hard to find, in itself, is included but the inner padding has worn away ( a cloth will be in place instead).
