Looking for an excellent ‘player’ D-28? Look no further.
This 1973 Martin may show some bumps and bruises but it sounds and plays wonderfully!
It has cracks, scuffs and wear as seen in the photos. All the cracks have been professionally repaired a number of years ago and are still good and solid. Structurally, this guitar is completely sound and ready to play.
Action and playability are very good. Not sure if the neck was reset in the past, it does not look like it, and it certainly does not need one at the moment.
Intonation is good all over the neck. The frets are in good shape, overall, with surprisingly little wear.
The pickguard has been changed as have the bridgepins.
It comes with a generic hardshell case.
- Dreadnought Body Style
- Solid Sitka Spruce Top
- Solid Indian Rosewood Back & Sides
- Ebony Fingerboard
- Ebony Bridge
- Grover Tuners
- 1-11/16″ Nut Width
- Hardshell Case Included
Check the photos carefully, this one’s not perfect cosmetically but it has a beautiful, sweet, balanced tone that more than makes up for it’s flaws!
