Description

Looking for a North American made guitar?

Check out this rare Hensel Artist, made in Toronto, Canada!

Handmade, very Rare

Hensel guitars were made by Arthur Hensel in Toronto, Canada from approximately 1920-40. They were hand made and usually built for Toronto based company R.S. Williams & Co.

Good Playability

Neck-joint and angle are still great making playability and action nice, which is surprising, considering the age of this guitar.

The frets show a little wear but have lots of life in them. Tuners and bridge appear to be unchanged. And look at that cool, hand carved headstock!

With it dating to the 1930-40’s, it shows some wear & scratches that would be expected from a  guitar of this age but there appears to be no breaks, cracks or repairs.

A slot has been cut into the bridge for the saddle which is not original but doesn’t affect playabilty.

It appears to have a brace that may be a little loose, as well, which would be a pretty simple fix if desired, as it really isn’t affecting anything currently.

This guitar comes with what is assumed the original chipboard case. It’s fairly worn but still does the job.  It will packed and boxed very well if shipped.

A Collectable, Original Guitar

If you’re looking for an nice sounding, great quality and collectable guitar that won’t break the bank, this is it!
