Gretsch Rally 1970 – SOLD
Here’s a cool, rare Gretsch Rally from 1970!
This Bamboo Yellow and Copper Mist model 6105 features Gretsch’s Hi-Lo’Tron pickups, Bigsby vibrato and a Treble Booster.
The Rally was only produced from 1967 to 1970 and are pretty hard to find these days.
Our vintage Gretsch has been played and it shows with a repair to the neck and some laquer cracks and nicks. The crack at the headstock has been repaired many years ago and is completely stable.
The pickguard is original but has broken at the top screw hole which can easily be glued back together.
The neck joint is really solid (which isn’t always the case on these old Gretsches) and most of the binding is pretty good except for a few spots(as pictured below).
All the electronics function as they should and this old axe plays and sounds great with.
Included with this great Rally is the original Gretsch case.
