Here’s a rare one!
A vintage Ace Tone FR-30 Rhythym Ace percussion and drum machine from the late 1960’s.
Ace Electronic Industries, aka Ace Tone, was founded by Ikutaro Kakehashi’s in 1960 and in 1967 the FR series of rhythym machines was released. In 1972, Kakahashi would start the Roland company and develop some of the most iconic drum machines of the time and Roland is still one of the leaders in innovative music sound gear.
This FR-30 is in good condition, overall. There are a few marks, some dings on the front edge and a few areas where the veneer has broken off. Please see the photos.
The grill cloth is in excellent shape with no rips or tears.
Functionally, this machine works well. It has been gone over by our tech and has a clean bill of health.
This is a piece of early drum machine & Roland history perfect for any collector, creator or studio.
