Description
Here’s a pretty rare one!
A Gibson TG-0 from what I think would be 1966. I’m not positive on the year, however as Gibson serial numbers are not 100% accurate in dating their instruments.
Overall, it’s in great physical shape and plays and sounds wonderful!
The action is good and playability is nice and easy. It’s got a surprisingly big sound for a smaller bodied guitar. It’s clear and articulate.
There are some obvious alterations to this TG-0; the pickguard has been removed and is gone, the bridge has been changed and the tuners may have been changed. I’m not 100% on the tuners, though, as I’ve seen some guitars with individual tuners like this and some with strip tuners.
Structurally, this Gibson is solid and appears to be free from repairs or issues.
This is a great instrument for someone just looking for a great ‘player’ guitar. It sounds great, is solid and has a cool ‘mojo’!
